Avoiding Flatshare rows

It is important to be aware of ambiguities in the English Language.

The following confusions are very common :-

living room sofa = evening snack wrapper bin
living room floor = dishwasher waiting zone
living room floor = recycling point for paper and pizza boxes
other people's cupboards = nearer store than sainsbury's local
bathroom = my ensuite
electricity bill = junk mail
washing machine = my wet clothes fermentation vat
toilet roll holder = 'Why isn't there any toilet paper ?'
Hoover bag = 'I only know how to use a Dyson.'
kitchen sink = virtual dishwasher
visiting cleaner = my mother
boyfriend = honorary flatmate
wall = impenetrable sound barrier
hot water = fundamental right.
privacy = selfish
noise = other person's problem
friendly flatshare = we need to fill the room

Technology is good for avoiding flatshare rows: dishwashers and electric clothes dryers are good. Second bathrooms are even better. Locked fridges are for boarding school however. TV remote controls constitute the usual hazard
