I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy as i am moving away to be closer to my new job.
The available bedroom is East-facing and in a 4-person houseshare. It is approximately 4 m by 5 m (that is 20 square-metres to oneself!). It is on the second floor with a bathroom to share with George who is on the third floor. This bedroom overlooks the garden and benefits from natural light throughout the day.
The ground-floor is the common living area. The kitchen at the front of the house comes with all the modern appliances (fridge, new washing machine, oven, gas-hobs and dishwasher), it has lots of storage and comes with marble counter tops for easy food prepping and cleaning. The living/dining room at the back of the house conveniently has a day-bed (for those accidental sleepovers) and patio doors that lead to the generously sized garden. Between the kitchen and living/dining room is a toilet and understairs storage.
You would be sharing with three relaxed gay guys. Michael, the artist one, is an interior designer who can be credited for much of the aesthetics of the house and garden. Freddie, the sweet one, is a project manager who will jump at the occasion of celebrating your milestones. George, the Northener, is the quick-witted landscaper/ plant nerd who enjoys sharing meals.
The boys would like to live with somebody friendly, easy going and down to earth, male/ female, gay/ straight - so long as you're relaxed, personable and clean and tidy you'd be a good fit. Although all busy individuals, we like to eat together when our schedules permit and there's usually a bottle of wine on the go. That said it's not a party party house :)
The bedroom is available mid-August onwards.
The house is in Putney (SW15) situated in a quiet area at the junction of Roehampton, Barnes and Putney. The closest station is Barnes (8-min walk) where you can catch the South Western Railway train that gets you to Waterloo in 20 min. Buses that take you right by the house are the 419 to Hammersmith Bridge (10 min), the 493 to Richmond (20 min), the 265 and 430 to Putney Bridge (10 or 15 min). Buses that take you 5 min walk from the house are the 33 to Hammersmith Bridge or the 337 to Wandsworth (18 min). There is a big 24-hr ASDA that is 20~25 min walk or 12 min on the bus. It is a 12 min walk to Barnes High Street and Barnes Common, 20~25 min walk to Putney High Street and East Putney tube station, as well as a 15 min walk to Richmond Parks Roehampton Gate. If you like the open green spaces of the South West, this is a place for you!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
