ABOUT THE ROOM & THE HOUSE
We have a double room in our comfortable 4-bed Victorian house, just off London Fields. It is a peaceful, friendly house with a nice vibe. So as to keep the balance in the house, we are looking for a FEMALE housemate on this occasion.
The room is at the back of the house and overlooks the garden. It is available from now. It's fully furnished and has a double bed with storage drawers underneath, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a desk and a bookcase.
We have a large lounge, a huge kitchen with a big dining table, a nice bathroom with a good shower and a maintained leafy garden. The house has all the amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, a large fridge, a separate freezer.
It's on Lavender Grove, which is 15 minutes walking distance away from Dalston Junction, Hackney Central or Haggerston Overground stations and less than 10 minutes from London Fields railway station. There are plenty of shops nearby and Broadway market and Regent's Canal are within a short walk.
We are currently three people in the house (two males and one female), one from the UK and two from Australia, and we are looking for the fourth one. We all get on very well and there is a really nice vibe in the house.
We all live independently but we also do quite a few things together. We care about the house and try to keep it clean and tidy. Every now and then we organise a house party or BBQ gathering in the garden. We all have a 9 to 5 working schedule.
Tim works in an environmental organisation, loves walking and the outdoors, theatre, swing dancing, playing guitar and lately Yoga.
Rob is an architect and event designer and enjoys film and live theatre, good food and drink.
Emily works in hotel management and enjoys bike-riding, wine and kick boxing (in no particular order!)
ABOUT THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who is in full-time day-time employment, who is over the age of 30. If you're an easy-going, open-minded, clean, tidy, friendly person who wants to share a homely place then we would like to hear from you.
Your share of the rent will be 624 per calendar month, fixed until December 2021. Normal household bills are on top - around 120 per month each (including a cleaner who comes once a week).
Our landlord is very nice and looks after us well but he will require you to provide proof of your identity, including your right to reside in the UK, your current UK address and 3 references, from your current landlord, your employer and your bank. Your share of the deposit will be 720 (legally protected).
