We have a double room available in our rare gem of a flat! Available from the 2nd of May.
One of our flatmates is moving in with her boyfriend so the rooms has become available.
This is a safe and secure flat, we have been really mindful of following all of the COVID safety guidelines, especially as one of us is higher risk. It's been a great safe haven through all the uncertainty of the last year!
The flat is really cosy and homely, we've tried to make it as chilled and peaceful as possible. We have a lovely living room with a big sofa and TV, perfect for watching films together. We have a very large shared balcony / roof terrace that we share with our neighbours. It's a very friendly building and our neighbours are lovely :)
The bedroom is 500 month. It is a small double and comes with a double bed and a chest of drawers. You would also have use of a huge fitted cupboard right outside your room. It would be possible to fit a desk but you would also be able to work from the living room as we have a desk set up where our house mate works from currently undisturbed.
We are all currently working from home and have a good WFH set up, and have 200mbps fibre broadband..
Current flatmates - two professionals (working in marketing and development). We like to keep a chilled atmosphere in the flat as we all have demanding jobs. We are in a great spot, and when things reopen we are spoilt for choice of bars and restaurants locally.
The location is perfect - we are walking distance from Columbia Road, Broadway Market/London Fields, Regent's Canal, Brick Lane and Shoreditch. Victoria Park and Hackney Central are also super close.
Great transport connections for work, socialising and shopping. You can get to Soho in about 25 minutes, Hackney Central in 20, Stratford in 15. And there's a huge (for central London) Tesco about 3 minutes from the front door, plus loads of shops on the main road. There's also a big Sainsburys and a Lidl within about 15 minutes walking.
