Thank you for reading my ad.
Im a professional guy in my late 20s, looking to share a 2-bedroom apartment in Central London (Barbican) with another full-time professional, non-smoking guy aged 25-45 y.o.
The room is available on 15th October for a long-term let only (+6 months). Viewings will take place over the next couple of weeks.
Im looking to share the flat with a clean, tidy individual, who values their down-time at home, and prefers to socialise outside the flat.
You should be in full-time employment, have a steady income, work regular hours and want to come home at the end of the day to a relaxing environment.
About the property:
The property is spread over 2 levels with East/West aspects. There is plenty of light and it doesnt feel like youre living next to the financial district.
The main level has got a spacious lounge and open plan kitchen with westward views facing private lake gardens.
The bedrooms are on the upper level. There is 1 toilet and 1 bathroom, both communal.
The bedroom available comes furnished and is very spacious (approximately 3.5m x 3.6m). Its got a large built in wardrobe, a double bed, a bedside unit, a set of shelves.
All the rooms in the flat have floor to ceiling windows. Theres a private balcony in the living room and a balcony in the bedroom. The flat is carpeted (apart from the kitchen & bathroom) and has under-floor heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster, fridge and washing machine.
Please Note: There's no TV/landline in the flat. There is high-speed internet/broadband.
The rent is 950/month with deposit and a month in advance required on signing the contract.
Monthly bills come on top of that (Council Tax, Water, Electricity) and add up to approx. 150/month. So your monthly overall budget should be 1,100 (approx.).
The nearest tube stations to the property are Moorgate, St. Pauls, Barbican, Liverpool Street and Bank stations.
Residents have access to the private lakes, tennis courts and gardens within the complex.
The Barbican is located centrally in Zone 1 next to the financial district.
There are various supermarkets close by (Waitrose, M&S, Tesco) and plenty of bars, cafes, and restaurants.
The Barbican Centre has an arts centre, art-house cinemas and is home to the LSO and RSC.
The property is located a short walk from all the bars and restaurants around Smithfield market, Spitalfield/Hoxton Square/Shoreditch and the West End.
References and credit checks are required to sign a lease.
Please note, the property is not available to couples/students/smokers.
If interested in coming over to view the room, drop me a line with a few details about yourself and any questions you might have.
