We have a two bedroom flat, with one (shared) bathroom with shower & bath, shared kitchen/sitting room. Your bedroom is spacious and have massive wardrobe for storage. It's a nice, warm and quiet place where you can feel at home and relax - perfect for working from home or studying. High ceilings, big windows, modern feeling - a nicely finished place that will accomodate two couples comfortably. There's also a small storage area in the premises. It is a non-smoking/no pet flat.
About us: We are friendly, professional couple looking for new flatmates (couple/single) to share a modern, spacious, attractive, tidy and well-maintained 2 bedroom flatshare in Whitechapel.
We are an easygoing and sociable late-twenties couple (M&F), both working in creative industries. We love film, theatre, binge-watching good TV, art, design, literature, travel (culture generally!) so bonus points if you have similar interests.
We like going out and about and seeing friends in the city though we don't tend to host massive parties/gatherings or do lots of entertaining at home - so if you're looking for a party house, probably not the best option for you! We're not neat freaks though we do prefer to keep things nice, clean and tidy.
You: Professional, good references for reference checks, sociable - but have your own thing going on (see our interests above). We are open to either a couple/ single person, looking for people we can have a laugh with and occasionally have a drink/ movie. Ideally looking for similar age group as us 25 - 38, work full time, non-smoker (we don't have smoking area in the flat). No pets permitted in the property!
Boring bits: Rent £1120 inc bills PCM. Deposit £1400?Move in date 29th Jan, but can be a bit later, can discuss with current flatmate. ?You will be signing the new lease with us in Feb. ??Please email us a few lines about yourself, your interests and lifestyle - and we will be in contact! Hope to speak to you soon.
The area: Whitechapel (Zone 2) has some great travel links. The flat is a 5 minute walk from Whitechapel tube station, and Aldgate East and Shadwell stations are also very close. Bus links to Central London and Hackney, etc.
Whitechapel itself can be a busy place at times though the flat itself is very quiet, with no noise from neighbours and very little from the street outside.
The famous Brick Lane is only a ten minute walk away, with Shoreditch on the other side and Spitalfields a short distance. There's two large supermarkets within easy reach, plus an impressive library, a fantastic cinema - and Whitechapel Art Gallery just down the road.
