Third bedroom, en suite, available from 23 Dec 2008. The house retain all org features and is on a peaceful media-ish/family road half way up Brixton Hill. There's acres of space, a long, tiled hallway with a stained glass front door, v big dining room, v big reception, v big kitchen with new washing machine, a dryer, a dishwasher, two ovens, two fridges, microwave, grills, slow cooker, mixers, ice cream maker, juicer, blender etc, all put to good use. There is a new white tiled, wood peeled shower room with sink and toilet on the first floor, a kitschy Greek God mural painted bathroom with sink and toilet on the second floor - it's en suite to the girly baby blue/cloud white top floor bedroom - a sizeable back garden, a strip of rose bushes at the front, a very large basement and a huge attic for storage. As stated, the house is recently redecorated, stripped, peeled and varnished inside and out, refurnished with new steel grey carpets and decluttered. Plus new central heating/radiators and wiring, with a new fitted black and grey marble topped kitchen coming soon. Broadband enabled, have wi-fi and Virgin cable TV. Residential parking is on tap from Lambeth Town Hall. Bedroom one is a large double with a high ceiling, painted a muted grey and soft eggshell and is on the second floor close to the shower room, overlooking the back garden. It has a new dark pine double bed, a built in wardrobe, shelving, a simple black Victorian fireplace, a distressed window fame and is carpeted and newly curtained in shiny grey silk. Bedroom two: another double, just redecorated in hessian and white, also on the first floor. It has a new pine double bed, with a full wall of white box shelves for clothes, books, mags, CDs etc. There's a built in wardrobe – known as the ET cupboard - a tall pine chest of drawers, two pine bedside drawers, a clothes rack, a large ornate black/gold Victorian marble fireplace, a pine glass mirror, a distressed window frame and is newly carpeted, plus curtained in beige calico. Bedroom three: with over the top en suite bathroom next door, ocean blue carpet, newly painted sky blue walls, a little green tiled sink - I'm popping in a plant - new mirrors, white Victorian fireplace, built in wardrobe, cream linen ring top curtains. New beech John Lewis double bed with built in side tables and under bed drawers. Basically the entire top floor goes to whoever rents this room. We're extra laidback, social, enjoy the giant 50 inch TV and new (loud) home cinema system. I think we'd would suit a smart professional or a mature student looking for more than a crash pad. We have free weights, Cardio Twister, Ab roller, chair, shaper, Pilates gym, cross trainer etc on site and are a 10-15 minute walk to Brixton tube depending on your fitness. Brixton Market and Tesco (with a Sainsbury’s on the hill) a few minutes away. Many, many 24 hours buses to the West End and City. The Victoria line takes about 20-25 minutes to same. Overground trains on further side of Brockwell Park, approx eight minutes away. The Ritzy cinema is near by and the cultural, music, arts and food scenes here are exploding. Rent for bedrooms is £730 per month, all bills included, except £10 per week for the cleaner's five hour Monday visit (she also irons, strips the beds etc). Two spoiled collies - Chip is a love junkie, his sister Canasta is delusional - and it's a three minute stroll to huge, green Brockwell Park and the Lido’s new gym, joggers paradise in the summer.
