Well connected, with buses and overland trains galore - there's a couple of nice pubs too and at the end of the street there is now not one but two delicatessens. Hackney is going up in the world. The flat itself is GORGEOUS - the landlords having made it their home before letting it out - and comes complete with all the mod-cons: washing machine, gas central heating, dishwasher, shower/bath along with some rather more refined things like high ceilings, stripped wooden floorboards, belfast sink and an open fire. There's a big balcony which overlooks the shared garden. Oh, and a couple of cats.... Room overlooks the garden, is big enough for a double bed, chest of drawers and desk, has some lovely old fitted wardrobes and attic space to boot.
