We are offering a large double room (13'6x10') in our recently completely refurbished ground floor flat situated in an ex-local authority development. We have kitted it out with modern décor and your room would have IKEA bedroom furnishings including double bed, cupboard and drawer units. The flat has real wood flooring, neutral colouring, and the layout is that of a huge reception room, brand new kitchen, four bedrooms (1 we use, 1 has gym equipment - which you can use, the other is a spare room), a large bathroom and bath with power shower, and a private balcony where we can bbq (when the weather improves!). The property is located at one end of Tulse Hill, which offers a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Tulse Hill Station (British Rail) and Brixton's Victoria Line tube station are both nearby, 4 bus services operate from the main road, and the A23 offers the motorist easy access to central London and towards the south of England. There is also free parking by the flat, if you have a car/moped/motorbike. Across the road you can get access to Brockwell Park and the Brockwell Lido. Herne Hill also offers many nice cafes and bars. We are a professional couple, one working in retail design and planning, and the other in management consulting. We are out during the week alot but sometimes work from home. We're active at the weekends and enjoy going out socialising, cinema and just chilling listening to tunes. We'd like to find someone who could put up with us! ;-) AND our cat, Gizmo who is 1 year old, gets on with everyone and is a house cat. References and deposit may be required.
