Double room in shared house near Canary Wharf: I am looking for another non-smoking professional to share my house as my current lodger is about to move out. No couples please. The room has been recently decorated, has laminate wooden floors, lots and lots of wardrobe space and its own phone and TV aerial points. The house is a modern semi-detached 3 storey town house with a huge light top floor lounge and recently fitted kitchen and bathroom. There is the usual TV stuff - DVD player, recordable freeview box etc. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi broadband. The house is on a private road so it is quiet, and there is a dedicated parking space (I dont have a car), a garage for storage and for bikes, and a garden. We are near mudchute DLR station and right next to the D3, D7 & 135 bus stops which all go to Canary Wharf, just a few minutes away, where there is a cinema and loads of shops, bars and restaurants and a jubilee line station. I am a science journalist and out a fair bit so you would get the house to yourself sometimes, but would be nice to share with someone who I can share a glass of wine and a natter with at the end of a hard day at work! You must also like cats as I have a rather fat and friendly ageing moggie.
