Double room (8' by 10') in my flat, which is on the top floor of a 3-storey turn-of-the-century mansion block, containing 5 other flats. Great things about it:

- Owner/Occupier is friendly, easy-going and considerate, works as a tourism project manager for the London Development Agency. Previous housemate lived with me for 7 years.

- Brilliant large roof terrace which is hardly ever used by other residents!

- Modern comfortable living room, all other rooms comfortable and well-decorated.

- Spacious and bright kitchen/dining room

- Bathroom has bath and shower.

- Broadband connection

- Would certainly consider getting a cleaner if you're keen.

To be upfront here are some things which may or may not suit you:

- I'm sociable so friends will pop over occasionally, but they're all great and friendly. Your friends are welcome too of course.

- I'm liberal-minded and pragmatic, so I prefer people who are similar.

Things about me:

- Thinking about it, most of my money seems to be spent on going out, so that must mean I go out a bit. Mainly to meet friends, gigs, parties, comedy.

- Play sport, mainly cricket in the summer.

- Decent collection of Rough Guides, most of them used. Ditto books, records.

- Not a morning person so there won't be fights over the shower at 7am.

- Have been known to make some mean cocktails

- I blimmin love London!

- And Glastonbury and Oktoberfest.
