Double room available in large flat close to the station. Eat-in kitchen, two bathrooms, large living room with two sofas, a few easy chairs and a working fireplace, wireless broadband. The bedroom is approximately 9ft by 12ft with a bed, storage and desk.

We are two single people (and a border collie with beautiful manners) looking for a clean and tidy, easygoing, working person who wouldn't mind taking the dog around the block when they come home first in the evening.

There's a big Sainsbury's just around the corner and a small Tesco. There is a garden at the back if you fancy growing your own veggies. The Horniman Gardens are close by, Dulwich Park is about 20 minutes' walk away and there is Sydenham Forest if Arnie manages to work his magic on you.

Forest Hill is a nice, leafy area, friendly and safe. The station is always busy late at night, and there is a good demographic mix in the area.

The Hob has comedy nights every Saturday and celebrity pub quizzes during the week. The Dartmouth Arms is comfortable and has excellent food. I wouldn't call the Wetherspoons nice - although, as an old cinema, it does have some architectural interest - but its main selling point to most people is the football if that's your thing. There are lots of nice restaurants and bars in East Dulwich, which is just a short bus ride away.
