Flat DescriptionA two double bedroom maisonette style flat just north of Victoria park village. The flat is in a midterraced Victorian property with it's own entrance and is situated on a lovely tree lined road which is very quiet. Steps lead up to the front door which are great for sitting on in the sun.
The property is set off from the road and so has added privacy and also a tree outside. The hall way has all the old natural features which run throughout the property, typical old style in that sense.
The rooms have original cornicing and high ceilings. The large downstairs bedroom has a big bay window which lets in lots of light and large alcoves great for storage. The room currently has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, glass table and also writing desk with chair and still has lots of space.
The flat itself is laid out on different floors, which gives the feeling of being more a house than a flat whilst adding to privacy.
The kitchen is of a good size with all modern facilities, washing machine, microwave, gas cooker with electric oven and the central heating is gas too. The lounge is very large with two big windows letting in light and also an original fireplace. Alcoves are next to the fireplace providing more space.
The second double bedroom is on the back of the property with a lovely view over roofs and the back gardens. It is a small double but still has room for a double bed, chest of draws and side table. There is an annex room in the loft which is perfect for a studio, walk in wardrobe or just extra storage. The bathroom has been fitted with fired earth brick tiles, original style shower and bath, with exposed oak wood floors.
The great thing about living here is the location. Well street market is a 1 minute walk with a variety of shops, Well street pizza etc. Nearby pubs include The Kenton, The Gun, The People's Park Tavern all within a 5 min walk. Wells common is a 2 min walk, Victoria park is 5 mins walk, the village about the same where there are loads of coffee places, shops and decent restaurants to eat.
London fields is a 10 min walk (nice route along the canal) with many places to eat and drink with a Saturday food market. Shoreditch/Hoxton is 15-20 min bus ride.
A decent Tesco and fresh fruit and vegs shops are 2 mins, Hackney Picture house is 10 mins for the cinema lovers. Homerton overground is a 7 min walk and there are multiple bus stops for the 26, 425 and others nearby. It really is all on the door step.
The pictures do not do it justice!
Please note the current tenants have changed the layout around and the flat will be let unfurnished. An option for beds and other bits of furniture to remain is possible.
The flat is available from the 27th of May (can be flexible) when the current occupants will be leaving after being there for over 2 years.
